Bellona continues expansion in overseas markets. A brand new Bellona store opened in Sarajevo in Bosnia Herzegovina on 06 December 2010. The brand’s first store in Bosnia was open for business in Zenitsa in Bosnia Herzegovina, and now the second Bellona Shop Bellona store is at the service of the citizens of Bosnia Herzegovina. Vice chairman of Boydak Holding, Sukru Boydak, commented that the Sarajevo store is a total of 2400m² and the shop carries everything under the Bellona brand under one room. By opening this new Bellona Shop in Bosnia Herzegovina, Bellona has increased the number of its stores abroad to 91.
We hope that Bellona starts producing in Bosnia Herzegovina in the future
The federation president of Bosnia Herzegovina Mustafa Muezinoviç spoke during the opening ceremony of Bellona Store in the Dobrinja Area and said that he welcomes the investment of Bellona in his Country and is very happy to see the new Bellona Store in Bosnia Herzegovina. He added that he expects Bellona to start producing in Bosnia Herzegovina in the future. Moreover, he said that Bellona will increase the competition in the region and this competition would contribute positively onto the private sector in the region.
One million sales target
Vice chairman of the Boydak Holding “Sukru Boydak” emphasized that the Sarajevo store is the 91st store abroad and expressed pleasure at being able to provide high level service to Sarajevo consumers. Sukru Boydak told the large opening day crowd that Bellona will create a difference with its high quality, reasonable prices and modern design in accordance with other players in the region. Sukru Boydak added that they expect to reach the 1 million Euro sale targets for the coming year.
Sarajevo is in a very important position in order for developing European sales network.
Boydak Holding Board Member and Boydak International Trade General Manager Murat Bozdağ said that the newly opened store in Sarajevo plays an important role towards development of the European sales network. Murat Bozdag added that one of the main reasons to expand to the market of Bosnia Herzegovina is the historical ties between two countries and being able to travel between Bosnia Herzegovina and Turkey without visa restrictions.
