Increase in shipment number and turnover

Boytrans was established for carrying out logistics activities of Boydak Holding on June 17, 1996. 11 thousand 29 shipments were realized across Turkey by Boytrans vehicles in 2008, 85% of those shipments were to Istanbul and 15% to the other provinces.
The company, carrying out its activities with its 114 employees comprising 76 drivers, 23 workers and 15 administrative personnel, serves in its facilities with covered area of 2.118 m2 and open area of 35.675 m2.
 
Boytrans caused its total shipment number and turnover to increase by investing more in the spare trailer articulated lorry shipment and increasing the vehicle number in the year 2004. Besides, put the new parking place with a covered area of 250 m2 in the open area of 13.350 m2 at the same address with the aim of serving to the market vehicles and constructing social facility in the place of the car park in 2005. The company, turning to tow truck and trailer system by selling all the lorries in its vehicle fleet in the year 2008, increased its movement capacity by opening a branch in Istanbul in 2008 and ensured that returning loads of the vehicles are more planned and organized.
 
The filling station, put into operation by the company in the year 2001, maintains its first place among the Opet distributors across Turkey according to the sales, it realized in the year 2008. The station where products of Opet in fuel oil and Mogaz in auto gas are sold was awarded with TSE document in the year 2003. Besides, “Automation System” and cash register and tank automation system which became compulsory in the filling pumps across Turkey have been adopted for ensuring more regular and safer sales. The fuel oil sales made from this station are as follows; 25% company vehicles, 12% group companies and 63% market sales.
