Türkiye Finans Katılım Bankası was established upon merger of Family Finans and Anadolu Finans institutions.
Merger of Anadolu Finans Kurumu belonging to Boydak Group holder of leading institutions of furniture, home textile and cable industries and Family Finans belonging to Ülker Group world leader in biscuit, chocolate and other food products was approved with resolution of the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency dated 28.12.2005 and number 1764.
Changing of the Bank title as Türkiye Finans Katılım Bankası A.Ş. was approved upon resolution of the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency dated 30.12.2005 and number 1747.
Merger activities through transfer were completed on 30.12.2005 and registered by Republic of Turkey Trade Registry Office as per provisions of Turkish Commercial Law number 6762.
Finally, Boydak and Ülker Groups which are two leading groups of Turkey merged Anadolu Finans and Family Finans under the title of Türkiye Finans Katılım Bankası with their own willpower for keeping up with the global economy conditions and being more useful for Turkey on December 30, 2005.
60 percent shares of Tükiye Finans serving to more than 1 million customers with its 178 branches and employees over 3.200 were purchased by The National Commercial Bank (NCB), which is one of the most important bank of the Middle East and it the biggest bank of Saudi Arabia on the date of March 31, 2008. Türkiye Finans, developing more with this power added along with the Boydak and Ülker Groups through new partnership, has sustained its vision of being the leading participation bank.
